During my internship, I worked on a variety of projects for brands such as Sunway University, LBS, Vectrix, Nature Valley, Prompt Coffee, and The Mind. I created illustrations and designs for campaigns, including festive themes like Chinese New Year and Raya. The Challenge

Working on diverse projects for multiple brands during my internship presented several challenges. Adapting to different brand identities and ensuring consistency across campaign designs required careful attention to detail. Creating festive-themed designs, such as for Chinese New Year and Raya, added complexity as I needed to balance creativity with cultural relevance. Additionally, developing cohesive compositions by blending assets from various sources demanded strong technical skills and a keen eye for design. Packaging design brought its own set of challenges, requiring a focus on both visual appeal and practicality to meet client expectations.

The Solution

To address these challenges, I thoroughly researched each brand’s identity and visual guidelines to align my designs with their values and target audiences. For festive themes, I drew inspiration from cultural references while incorporating modern elements to create fresh yet meaningful designs. I honed my technical skills through practice, particularly in blending assets into seamless compositions, and regularly sought feedback to refine my work. For packaging design, I prioritized functionality while ensuring the visuals captured the brand’s essence, successfully balancing creativity and practicality.
